But seriously, we here at Don't Tell Comedy love introducing amazing comedians to the world. But we can only do that if they're introduced to us first. And since most of us live in LA (ew, gross) we fear we're missing out on knowing some of the best up-and-coming comics this country has to offer.

So we're creating this: A new comedy competition designed to introduce us (and the world) to the funniest** in the biz.

REAL AUDIENCES. MEANINGFUL PRIZES. ACTUAL EXPOSURE.

**please remember that "funniest" is subjective and that you should not stake your emotional well-being on the results of a dumb comedy competition. That said, please apply because we'd really love to see your stuff.

We're hosting a comedy competition across the country to find the best comedians who everyone should know about.

Submit a brief application, a 3-minute video, and the application fee to be considered for one of our 5 regional showcases. The winners from each regional showcase will come to LA for our finals weekend.

The goal of the competition is to find great comics from all over the country. Thus, the regions! The spirit of the regions is to pick the region where you're from, where you started comedy, where you've spent much of your comedy career, or where you currently reside. Don't try to pick a region because you think it'll be easier to win there. If you do, we will find you, and politely ask you why you did something against the spirit of the competition.

$5,000 grand prize and a Don't Tell Comedy Taped Set that will live on the Don't Tell Comedy YouTube channel.

The runner-up will receive $1,500 and a headlining set on a future DTC show.

All comedians who make the semi-finals will have at least one clip appear on DTC socials.
